The Person

We are looking for a passionate, experienced Purchasing Administrator who has the passion and enthusiasm to liaise with buyers and suppliers and communicate with the management team to deliver quality results.  Telephone skills are required, alongside an ability to build a good rapport with our suppliers, but be firm enough to get the results required, which are key for the operation of the business.

The Role

We are seeking a candidate who can work in a systematic manner, with a focus on purchasing performance KPIs.

•  Liaising with buyers, suppliers, and the management team to ensure that critical requirements are identified, and purchase orders are placed in a timely manner

•  Working in a systematic manner with a focus on the purchasing performance KPIs including:

  • Stock Outs
  • Potential Stock Outs
  • Late Purchase Orders
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Purchase order maintenance within the ERP system
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Purchase order maintenance within the ERP system

Experience (Preferable)

  • Previous experience working within a busy Purchasing Department as an Administrator, Expeditor, or similar role with a proven record in delivering business value
  • Experience in working with an international supply chain
  • Experience of ERP systems and Bills of material
  • Telephone skills, ability to build a good rapport with our suppliers, but be firm enough to get the results required, which are key for the operation of the business
