At the start of the year Chris Heaton, Group MD for OSL, announced he would be running the boundary of the Company of Cutlers to raise funds for Brathay Trust (this year’s Master Cutler’s Challenge chosen charity). Those who know Chris will know that he is a determined runner and doesn’t take these things lightly. His previous challenges include an ice marathon and 30 consecutive Lake District marathons.

The date was set for April. Unfortunately, following a serious foot injury, Chris was forced to abandon his plans.

CH100finishIn recent weeks, Chris’ blog indicated he was back in training to regain fitness. What we didn’t know was that the challenge was back on!

On Wednesday 23rd September Chris would be running the 100 miles. Chris finished on Friday 25th September, smiling and having raised more than £2500 for Brathay Trust.

Check out Chris’ blog here to see how it felt for him.
